For the past two years I’ve considered myself incredibly lucky as I find that our public transportation has offered me a great deal of benefits that have help me through all this time in many ways. My name is Jonathan Escobar; I live with my parents and my younger sister in Kendall. I currently work in a private bank in Brickell named RBC and am also a student at Miami Dade College, now transferring to a design school for my career. As you can see due to my daily routine and life, we all need a source of transportation in order to enable me to go from home to work, from work to school, from school back home and so it goes. I believe am certainly not the only one that does this as I see many travelers along the way on my daily journeys.

Miami Dade public transportation has helped me in many ways due to the fact that using the bus and Metro rail everyday has served me quite well in a very long period of time. Ever since I started to work in Brickell, the only and easiest way for me to get there not only on time, but without stress has been the metro rail. I think I benefit from this source intensively specially because it gets me there faster with not having to think of wasting gas, driving, and exposure to many other things that might come on a daily driving manner such as accidents, traffic, gas polluting, and been late to school and work. On the other hand on the train am able to read, sit down, relax, be social, or even take a short nap while still been on my way to work. I believe it’s a great source of transportation since am able to see all the good things it brings to me.

In addition, am also very satisfied with the train service when it comes to times, and schedules because it’s important that there always on time. So far throughout the end of last year and this one, I’ve also seen very good changes regarding security and train entries which makes everything look a lot more futuristic and in many ways safer for travelers when it comes to making dishonest people pay for entries with the new “Easy Card” system. I can say that am very glad we have this type of service because for most it really delivers better ways to go from one place to another in a faster, and more resourceful way. I look forward for future advances and changes when it comes to make things better for us and the world of transportation, which in many ways makes this city unique and better than many others.
