PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION MAKES MY DAY

I live in the city that's always on vacation
I see the whole world on my public transportation
When I go to class to learn how to teach
the rest of y'all are goin' to the beach!

on my way to work streets are filled with congestion
So I take the bus - It's a worthwhile suggestion
to help the environment and keep our city green
support transportation that saves gasoline

grateful for my drivers that take me on my way
I'M ALWAYS SURE TO GREET THEM and thank them everyday
FOR the GREAT JOB THEY'RE DOING TAKES Responsibility
to give us protection and reliability

I LOVE MY free time AND I'm happy for my ride
that takes me places that give me so much pride
libraries, symphonies, museums, or a show
my driver is the one who gets me where i've got to go

With my arms full of groceries i count on the bus
Public transportation for me is a Must
I always tell the truth so don't get nervous
I'm gonna make a fuss if you cut my service!

I appeal to tourists and locals the same
we're all here TOGETHER playin' in the same game
MIAMI transportation enriches our lives
LET'S ensure that our metro always arrive!
