Riding the city bus definitely “gets me there!” To work, buying groceries, or catching a movie, public transportation provides a low cost, convenient, and cool relaxing ride to my destination. When I have to be there I can count on public transportation to get me to where I need to be. The world is out there and the city bus allows me to be there too.
Aside from walking it is difficult to beat the price. The cost of public transportation varies by city but it sure beats any and all car payments. The difference allows for some nice, otherwise financially unattainable treats. A refreshing soda during a layover at the mall, money for a nice portable music player, and most importantly a little extra dough to contribute towards the rest of the bills. The cost of public transportation “gets me there!”
One would be hard-pressed to find a destination that is not serviced by some form of public transportation. Many more times than not there is a bus stop or booth right in front of where I need to go, if not in front, it isn’t too far from it. The convenience “gets me there!”
Public transportation is the poor man’s chauffeur. The buses are cool and clean, the drivers are pleasant and informative, and not driving allows for a multitude of various tasks to get done for example: reading, day planning, and that incessant cell phone talking and texting. Oh yes, the lovely conditions “gets me there,” nicely!
I enjoy riding public transportation. I could go on about everything from its new eco-friendly buses to its ability to decrease our oil dependency, but when all is said and done it “gets me there!”
