Top “Tell Your Story” Entries All Entries / Robert Offers a Quick Insight Into Public Transit Life I've seen bright-eyed college students on Metrorail and Metromover trains. I've seen lawyers, accountants, construction workers, nurses, and office employees. I've seen hard workers reviewing their notes and laid back tourists. I've seen Muslim head coverings, shirts with Christian crosses, and necklaces with the Jewish star of David. I've seen wealthy folks headed to Heat games or business meetings; I've seen high schoolers going to school with their books in hand. I've seen people from the North, South, East, West, and everything in between. I've heard numerous languages; I've seen sweethearts wrapping their arms around eachother; I've seen families sharing stories. I've seen seniors with walkers and babies in strollers. I've seen groups of kids on field trips and young adults on their way to internships. I've seen people carrying bags of groceries, and people with just their iPods (and their fare card, of course). As public transportation truly made up of the public, I've seen every walk
of life represented on these trains. The Metrorail and Metromover trains |
